Idaho Preferred Launches 2026 Holiday Box Collections Featuring Locally Sourced Products

Idaho State Department of AgricultureBOISE, Idaho – Idaho Preferred is proud to announce its 2026 Holiday Box Collections, now in their eighth year as a holiday tradition celebrating Idaho's farmers, ranchers, and food and artisan crafters. This year's boxes feature products from 26 Idaho producers, giving shoppers nationwide a meaningful way to share the taste of Idaho while supporting the people who grow and make it.
The 2026 lineup includes two curated collections, offered so the program can feature as many Idaho producers as possible, each built around the diversity of Idaho agriculture. Every item traces back to something grown, raised, or harvested in Idaho, then crafted into products ranging from baking mixes to meat products to handcrafted soaps and balms. The featured businesses represent every corner of Idaho's food and agriculture community, from home-based crafters to growing companies, and every box delivers a piece of the state's harvest straight to the doorstep.
"Every product in these boxes has a story rooted in Idaho," said Ashley Morrell, Idaho Preferred Program Specialist. "When you give a Holiday Box, you're sharing a little piece of Idaho, and you're also putting dollars directly back into the farmers, ranchers, and food businesses that keep our communities strong. It's a gift that gives back long after the holidays."
Celebrate the Season, Support Local
The Holiday Box Collections are designed to benefit Idaho producers, not to generate revenue for the program. Each box puts local brands in front of new customers across the country, building awareness and helping farmers, ranchers, and food crafters grow their reach. Every purchase keeps more dollars circulating in Idaho's rural towns and local economies, making each box an investment in the future of Idaho agriculture and a celebration of the people and land behind it.
