Fatal Crash on US12 mile marker 70, near Kamiah, Idaho
Idaho State Police is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on September 20th, 2026, at 3:58 PM, eastbound on US12 at milepost 70, near Kamiah, Idaho.
A white 2015 Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 54-year-old-female, from Kamiah, was travelling westbound on US12, and a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 61-year-old-male, from Kamiah, was travelling eastbound. The Jeep struck the motorcycle head-on, and the motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries on scene. The rider was not wearing a seatbelt.
Next of kin was notified on scene of the crash.
The roadway was blocked intermittently for approximately four hours.
The investigation is continuing.
