Injury Crash US 95 Milepost 353, Latah County, Idaho

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a red 1999 Dodge Dakota being driven by a 19-year-old male from Viola, Idaho, was traveling southbound on US 95 near milepost 353 when it crossed the double yellow lines, entered the northbound lane, and sideswiped a blue 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 hauling a utility trailer being driven by a 25-year-old female from Garfield, Washington, before colliding head-on with a white 2024 Toyota RAV4 being driven by a 73-year-old female from Potlatch, Idaho.

The 19-year-old male was transported by ambulance to Gritman Medical Center with serious injuries. The 73-year-old female was also transported to Gritman Medical Center with minor injuries. The 25-year-old female was not injured. All drivers were wearing seat belts.

Both lanes of US 95 were blocked while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened at approximately 6:44 p.m.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
